Z Scale Model Trains

What scale miniature railroad cars I have? N Is this scale?
I've seen the answers to previous questions that provide information like this, but I have no way to compare. The box I have is a little less than 5 7 / 8 "long and the" box "part is a little over 1 1 / 4 "(not including wheels). I found the trail of confusing measurements, since they have no clues. If I measure inside the wheels, it's1 / 2", if I can measure the outer side, is 3.4. "Is this an N Scale? ********************************* *** ********** Z Scale – Trains built to a ratio of 1:220. At measures 75 feet long locomotive 4 inches long. The rails of the track of 6.5 mm. N Scale – Trains built for a ratio of 1:160. A 75-foot long locomotive is 5 ½ inches long. The rails of the track are spaced 9 mm. HO Scale – Trains built to a ratio of 1:87. A locomotive of 75-feet long is 10 ½ inches long. The rails of the track are 7 / 8 inches apart.
The indicator is the separation the rails. This does not always tell you what the scale is that it is the amount that was reduced as the real life railroad or "Prototype". For example, a scale 1 / 87, 30 inch gauge cars run on N scale 1 / 160 of track. 30 gauge O scale cars run on HO-inch standard gauge. If you play the wind and tide, by far the most likely scale / gauge that you take is standard HO. Most hobby shops can tell you in an instant what you have. To measure wheels that the amplitude of the appropraite track would be far outside the wheel flanges. This is the internal dimension of the flat horizontal part of the wheel where sits on the rail. It's a great hobby!
