Small Toy Trains

How different is raising a small (toy) breed of dog to raise half the normal size?
Considering taking on a rescued yorkie (which I think the "cup of tea", but do not know yet, just received a call from the rescue …) but have no experience with toy breeds. We have one pound 30 (rescued, of course) very well trained, lab mix – is growing and training a small dog will be very different? Any link or resource suggestions?
It is important to Train the dog bit the same as a larger breed. The problem with most small dogs are owners. Let them get away with things because what is unacceptable in a larger race is "cute" when a dog does. Do not fall into this way of thinking. Here are some tips ** small bladders. have to go more often "difficult to educate ** – can have a very quick crash quickly before you notice May ** have ** spoiled before them walk on their own four legs. Carry them everywhere do well shy or defensive / aggressive ** They have been bred for generations to be companions. demand more attention ** bones are fragile, do not let them jump off furniture. Not recommended for children They think small ** are bigger than them. be cautious when playing with larger dogs. May be injured unintentionally Also, another note: have collars fragile tracheas. Be careful what you use in the neck. I like a martingale that fit well. this is like a cross between a chain training collar and a flat collar. When training does not close completely around the neck, but you still get the snap of a training collar for correction. Do not shake them. If used only a flat collar will learn to pull it to create pressure on the neck. ** The most important thing is to socialize
