A "N – Scale" model Train is created using a scale of 1: 160 feet ….?

If a real engine of the train, the K "- 4" a XX – The early motor, is 45 feet long, what is the length of the "N – Scale" Model Train in inches?

The scale term is independent of the units. 1:160, any measure of a unit length in the model is 160 of those same units on the real motor. For example, if the width of the cabin is 1 inch in the model, the real motor car would be 160 inches wide. Therefore, if the actual engine is 45 feet long, the model should be long or feel 1/160th 28 125 lot. It is a very useful until it multiplied by 12 to get inches. 3.375 or 3 3 / 8 inch.
