Model Trains N

I want to start a series of model Trains. I want to know what is best HO or N Scale? I would also like to know ….

… If you can buy a piece that folds up to go from less to more? Any information is appreciated! I have 14 years and am very interested in Model Trains.

The scale to choose depends on what we're trying to do and how much space you have. HO scale is the largest and most popular choice among fans of model trains. Generally is easier to buy the trains, cars, buildings, etc HO and you can get more specialized easier with HO. For example, if you want a Train with Pennsylvania only rail cars and trains, or if you want a design model that represents the decade of 1940, you may want to use HO scale. N scale is good if limited in space, or seek only a design model small and no subject or period. Supplies for the N scale tend to be more expensive and more limited in availability or variety. As to your second question, I think you want to know how to raise the door so you can cross a road or other track. If that is the case, then there are several options. Depending on how high I wanted to do and how fast you would have to rise, which clould always custom build for yourself. Just make sure that before building something permanent, a train and their cars to work on it. There are kits available Tressel or mountain railway in many hobby shops will help you this too. From these offer clear instructions on how to set up, this is your best bet if you're new to Model Railroading.
