Model Train Track Layout

Sliding wall panels vertical supports model Train?

I'm building a model Train Layout and want to set the motherboard to wall at one end standing with the other leg free. The length of the board is about 5 feet which would mean I'd have to lock the bracket to 2 feet from the ground. This is obviously down, so I'm looking for media that are in a vertical sliding rail. I could slide right down to pack away the board or bend the plate and slide the brackets up to table height to play with Trains. Has anyone seen a bracket that fits the description? Thanks

I have not seen acting as a support in my local hardware store … But you can use any number of products available. One thing I'm thinking, having built 3 RR dozen now is: Is it included in its planning, the depth of their buildings? You have to build a vertical box layout to suit aa, or (much more difficult) a hollow area between the wall studs. If you are going to build a vertical box (1 "x 6" box), we can insert metal pegs in the base-board and slots of the route in the frame. The pins are slid into slots and then rest in "niche" in the slots of the "memory" and the levels of "use." Ah, engineering, the joys of trying to adapt to a distribution in space. AS always remember Trice, cut once!
