help me find a theme for my HO scale model Train?

Ive recenty bought a Model Train ho scale is and want to build my own track and so on and so now I want to do is get a piece of wood that a street and that street i wana that Sord of like beams that support the other table that will out the train, but I'm having trouble finding any beams if you live in Brooklyn and see how the beams on the MTA subway Trains that I know exactly what I'm talking to thank you for reading

As a Model Railway experience I can suggest you go to your local hardware store and ask for a 4 x 8 piece of wood and a pair of sawhorses to act as table legs train.
