Can anyone answer about my Hornby Train?

I just want to ask the question 2. I have a Eurostar Train Set R1071 DCC Schedule 1) if I can buy the decoder (R8249) will work with me (R965) controller. 2) If I buy a track pack expansion pack C Do I need to buy something else to make sure my job training and racing both track (inner and outer circle.). PS I'm new

It is not a user of Hornby, but … Check with the manufacturer for recommendations locomotives that can operate with any decoder. Decoders are not as many in the market now, and thanks to the NMRA, the manufacturers do to make the exchange with different systems. There are some engines that are difficult to fit in the boxes. In extreme cases, the supply of a steam locomotive or a car "dedicated" (Always stays connected to the motor) can be used to contain the decoder. Hornby also be written to see their decoders recommendation again
