From LGB originally only European trains made on this scale, which did not catch on in the U.S. until 1972 when the model rail magazine published an article on the LGB.

A train garden built for the previous 1:24 scale emerged as the Feria de Los Angeles in 1924 at the Fairplex Garden where it remains today, although in 1972, was traded at 1:22.5 is correct. This forest about 1% (1 inch drop for every 100 inches long) to allow the train to cross from one side of the creek to the other.

Another measure called Gn15 that has emerged and uses the 1:24 scale parts, but H0 scale track is very narrow at 16.5 mm (just over ½ inch). This scale was designed for 15-inch Model Railway track known as minimum gauge.
